Abstract

Intelligent lighting and security systems are vital components of contemporary smart buildings and houses for minimizing energy usage and guaranteeing safety. To provide a safe and automated setting, the suggested system incorporates essential parts such photoreceptor (PIR) sensors, light-dependent resistors (LDRs), lights, and buzzers. The system may activate or deactivate lights based on the presence of humans, thanks to the PIR sensor, which helps to reduce power usage. To make energy use more efficient, the LDR helps control the brightness of the lights in response to the amount of light outside. When the buzzer detects an intrusion or potentially dangerous event like a gas leak or fire, it will sound an alarm. A low-cost and efficient option for contemporary smart buildings and houses, this system is built around an Arduino controller that automates the reactions to sensor inputs.
