This research was inspired by the increased emphasis in recent years on providing a more learner-cantered education, and it uses a virtual reality learning environment to do so via interesting problem-solving exercises. In this investigation, we focus on a human-based avatar in a 3D virtual reality setting for an immersive and simulated experience. The use of an avatar to lead students through a virtual reality setting as they act out an issue holds great promise for contextual learning. The interactive nature of simulations makes it possible for students to fully experience a challenging scenario. Situated learning allows students to actively participate in the learning setting, in this case, the study of the Muslim rite of tawaf as part of the hajj. Later, it will give students a head starts on their training with avatars by allowing them to digitally practice the tawaf. As a result, students will be able to experience the tawaf ritual in all its virtual glory. Finally, a VR practice tawaf prototype will be created that may be utilized by a wide range of pupils, from younger children to older adults.
